Didattica, Calendario e Propedeuticità

• Richiesta spostamento appello di “Medical Science” di settembre: per rispettare i
  vincoli di propedeuticità con l’esame di “Physiology” (stabilito per giorno 14
  settembre), la data dell’esame di Medical Science sarà posticipata dall’8 settembre a
  un giorno da stabilirsi, ma comunque dopo quello di fisiologia. Se a tal proposito
  avete notato altre incongruenze con le date fatecelo sapere.
• Sessione di Laurea: la data ufficiale per la prossima sessione di laurea in Nursing è
  fissata per il 27 novembre. È stata scelta l’ultima possibile così da permettere ai
  laureandi di sostenere gli ultimi esami a novembre e completare il tirocinio.

Competenze Linguistiche e Internazionalizzazione

• Potenziamento linguistico (CLA): Il Centro Linguistico di Ateneo intende attivare per
  noi un corso di perfezionamento dell’inglese che durerà circa 1/2 mesi
  (probabilmente ci sarà data la possibilità di fare più assenze del previsto a lezione
  per parteciparvi) e prevede il rilascio di un Open Badge* (un micro-attestato digitale,
  rilasciato dall’Università degli Studi di Palermo, che attesta il raggiungimento di un
  livello equivalente al B1, al B2 o al C1 secondo il Common European Framework of
  Reference for Languages).
• Innalzamento livello d’Inglese per la materia “Foreign Language”: dato che il livello di
  inglese richiesto per accedere al corso è il B2, da adesso, per l’idoneità di lingua
  inglese si dovrà raggiungere il livello C1.

Servizi e Tutorato per gli Studenti

• Tutorato dedicato per Anatomia e Fisiologia: è stato attivato un servizio di
  orientamento e tutorato specifico, tenuto da uno studente madrelingua che
  attualmente frequenta il corso magistrale in Neuroscienze. Trovate già tutte le
  informazioni e i dettagli sul sito. Ci dicono che se non verrà sfruttato sarà più difficile
  chiederne altri in futuro.

Tirocini e Riorganizzazione Reparti (Policlinico)
A seguito dello spostamento di alcuni reparti del Policlinico verso l’Ospedale Cervello è
stata proposta l’approvazione dei tirocini in altri reparti di del Policlinico, quali:
Reumatologia, Oculistica e Neurofisiopatologia.

Bando di trasferimento

• Bando Trasferimenti Anni Successivi: è stato pubblicato il bando di trasferimento, la
  scadenza della presentazione delle domande è entro 31 luglio e la pubblicazione
  delle graduatorie sarà il 15 settembre.

Teaching, Calendar and Prerequisites

• Rescheduling of the “Medical Sciences” Exam: to comply with the prerequisite
  constraints for the Physiology exam (scheduled for September 14th), the Medical
  Sciences exam date will be postponed from September 8th to a later date (to be
  determined), which will definitely be after the Physiology exam. If you notice any
  other date inconsistencies or conflicts, please let us know.
• Graduation Session: the official date for the next Nursing graduation session is set
  for November 27th. This date was chosen as the latest possible option to allow
  graduating students to complete their internships and take their final exams within
  November.

Language Skills and Internationalization

• Language Enhancement (CLA): the University Language Centre (Centro Linguistico
  d’Ateneo) intends to activate an English improvement course tailored for us. It will
  last approximately 1 to 2 months (we will likely be allowed a higher absence
  threshold than usual to facilitate participation). The course includes the issuance of
  an Open Badge* (a digital micro-certificate issued by the University of Palermo,
  certifying the achievement of B1, B2, or C1 levels according to the Common
  European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• English Proficiency Level (“Foreign Language”): since a B2 level of English is
  required to enter this degree course, from now on, the final proficiency level required
  to pass the “Foreign Language” exam will be C1.

Services and Tutoring for Students

• Dedicated Tutoring for Anatomy and Physiology: a specific orientation and tutoring
  service is now active, led by a native English speaker currently pursuing a Master’s
  degree in Neuroscience. All details and information are already available on the website.
  Please note: We have been strongly advised to use this service; if it is neglected, it will
  be much harder for us to request similar tutoring resources in the future.

Internships and Department Reorganization (Polyclinic)
Following the relocation of some departments from the Policlinico to the Cervello
Hospital, a proposal was approved to include internships in other Policlinico
departments, specifically: Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Neurophysiology.
